While I have explored many mediums of art, from drawing and painting to film and photography, nothing appeals to me as much as architecture. As the product of three cultures—Turkish, Italian, and American—I grew up being exposed to a range of architectural styles and structures, developing a strong sense of space and structure.
In May, I graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Certificate of Advanced Language Study in French. During my time there, I expanded my technical skill set and creative processes while delving deeper into the aspects of architecture I most admire, such as the relationship between culture and architecture, light, and innovative sustainable materials. Currently, I am continuing to develop my skills in a professional setting at Park Associati in Milan, Italy.
I continue to explore my interests in other subjects, as I believe architecture is not limited to art and design but rather is intertwined with all aspects of our world.
